Borrelli Walsh Director Patrick Bance and Senior Manager Éanna Brennan have been certified to act as Insolvency Practitioners in the Republic of Ireland by the Chartered Accountants Ireland (The Institute).
As a certified Insolvency Practitioner in the Republic of Ireland, an individual may then be appointed as a liquidator, receiver, administrator or a bankruptcy trustee. The requirements for licensing include insolvency experience, professional qualification and references from senior practitioners.

Our recent work includes our appointment as Receivers over an Irish animation and visual effects production company (“Company”) with over EUR75 million of intellectual property rights (“IPs”) in the Republic of Ireland. The work included establishing control over the operating Company in India; managing creditors, employees and directors of the Company; managing the Company’s co-production, licensing and merchandising arrangements; conducting an investigation into the affairs of the Company; and undertaking a restructuring and targeted sale of the Company’s assets and business.
