We are seeking an ambitious individual with approximately 2 years’ administrative and/or accounting experience to join our Finance team in Hong Kong.

The successful candidates will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Verify payment request and ensure all request submitted are in accordance with firm’s policy
  • Maintain internal system record and assist in job inception process
  • Assist in general office administration
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance team
  • Handle other ad hoc duties as required

Key Requirements:

  • Form 5 or above, Certificate or Diploma in finance / business or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sizeable MNC
  • Willing to learn and take responsibility, detailed mind set, organized, flexible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure in fast pace environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Accounting system knowledge would be an asset
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Immediate available is an advantage

We are seeking ambitious individuals with approximately 4-6 years’ restructuring, insolvency and forensic accounting experience to join our team in Hong Kong.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate solid experience of:

  • insolvency procedures, their application and differing requirements
  • leading project teams and managing restructuring and insolvency assignments
  • conducting informal workouts, independent financial reviews, provisional and compulsory liquidations, creditors voluntary liquidations and receivership assignments
  • cash-flow forecasting, financial analysis, financial modelling and valuations
  • running ad-hoc projects including forensic investigations and financial due diligence
  • experience of compiling and analysing books and records, conducting an inventory of assets and dealing with claims of creditors
  • assisting with drafting of reports, including Expert reports, to court and creditors
  • working in a dynamic organisation across geographies in Asia and offshore jurisdictions

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in accountancy, finance or business
  • CA, CPA or CFA qualification would be an advantage
  • 4-6 years’ relevant work experience, including operational and financial restructuring, insolvency and forensic investigations;
  • Good business sense and commercial acumen
  • Strong financial and business analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and Chinese

You’ll find yourself in high pressured situations from the start. You will need to:

  • quickly understand and analyse companies’ operational and financial performance
  • develop complex cashflow forecasts to assess working capital requirements, determine longer-term business viability  and establish valuation of companies
  • manage the daily cashflows and operations of companies
  • liaise and negotiate with senior management of companies, clients, creditors as well as external advisors such as consultants, auditors and lawyers
  • establish credible restructuring solutions to companies and lenders, which may involve merger & acquisitions or debt/equity capital market solutions
  • document, review and drive the implementation of refinancing/restructuring plans
  • analyse books and records, conduct inventories of assets and deal with claims of creditors and investigate fund flows

You will be involved in a wide range of interesting and challenging deals, often spanning multiple jurisdictions and time zones, with frequent travel in the region.
