Daniel is an Assistant Manager in the Hong Kong office.
Daniel joined Borrelli Walsh in 2019. Daniel’s experience covers compulsory liquidations, forensic accounting and investigations in Hong Kong and PRC.
Most recently, Daniel worked extensively with the Liquidators of a Chinese metal scrap trading company, including the extensive investigation of both the financial and operational affairs of the company. Daniel also assessed the audit procedures carried out by the former auditors of the company by utilising his audit experience and knowledge of the Hong Kong Standard on Auditing and Hong Kong Financial Report Standards. Daniel also provided litigation support by liaising with lawyers and drafting replies to the statement of defense for the audit negligence claim.
Prior to joining Borrelli Walsh, Daniel spent 4.5 years in the audit and assurance department of a Big 4 firm where he was a senior in charge of IPO projects and annual audit of Hong Kong listed companies. He has broad experience in different industries, including construction, property development, manufacturing, retailing and public utilities in both Hong Kong and the mainland China.
Daniel is a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Daniel speaks Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
